If this is your first time backing a Kickstarter (or your first time backing a Kickstarter that utilizes BackerKit), here's what you can expect:ĭuring a previous campaign, we wrote a step-by-step tutorial to explain the process, and so I'm going to include that here for you again to help you through the process if you need it :) These are the steps to complete once you receive your survey: However, the add-ons will no longer be available for purchase and no further changes will be able to be made to your pledge level. If you move between then and the time that the shipments are sent out, you will still be able to edit your address information later. If you don't see one by Wednesday afternoon, please check your spam folder, and if it isn't there either (or you need help filling out the survey), contact us at will actually be sending out 5% of surveys today to a random sampling of backers to ensure everything is working properly, so if you see yours come through today, it's still the official survey and nothing is wrong- please still fill it out!īefore getting into all the details, please note: The survey process will ask for your address. By Wednesday afternoon at the latest, each backer should have an email with a link to access their pledge and the add-ons store. I've heard its been a fairly common problem as Yahoo tries to clear out inactive email accounts, but I really need this to be fixed if possible.I wanted to send out a message to let you know that BackerKit surveys start going out TOMORROW.* We can only send a few thousand surveys per hour, so please be patient while we get them all out. I selected all of them, and then clicked the "Not Spam" for them to be returned to the In Box, but the Bouncing Email alert remains. After seeing the Kickstarter alert last night, I checked my Spam folder and saw roughly 15 Kickstarter e-mails in there from the last 2 days. Also, for full disclosure, for the first time that I can remember. I do still get some Kickstarter e-mails at my yahoo address, but not as many as I was getting each day, so I don't really know what to do. Its also my yahoo mail account I use for DrivethruRPG. I really don't want to have to use another e-mail address, as several (like 30 or more) of my soon to be delivered PDF portions of Kickstarters are already linked to my yahoo mail account. I've emptied out my e-mail account to a reasonable level just in case I had too many e-mails. I tried to retype my address into my Kickstarter page, and then tried to get a verification e-mail sent with no luck. Okay, so starting last night, I went to Kickstarter and found the big red alert at the top of my page saying that " Emails we've been sending to (My Yahoomail address) have been bouncing back. I just didn't really know where to put this. Mods, feel free to move this if there is a more appropriate area of the forum.
